This is a review about Nikon D90 ,which is a fantastic DSLR for professionals as well as novices.
Nikon D90 is the advanced version of the very popular D80 digital SLR camera. I think D80 was the most popular high-end camera in the mid-range cameras developed by Nikon. Nikon D90 is having a 12.3 Mega Pixel CMOS sensor. The camera is supplied with a Nikon DX 18 to 105 mm VR zoom lens, which makes it overall good for wide angle shots as well as telescopic shots.
It has a 3 inch wide screen that provides a crisp and vibrant display. The best feature of Nikon N90, as I think, is that this screen can be used as a focus or view lens.
I think, Nikon D90 is one of the easiest cameras to operate upon, if you have a bare knowledge in photography. The best part is that all image functions like ISO, exposure metering, focusing modes and white balance can be accessed by pressing the respective button switches.
Nikon D90 has a 12.3 Mega Pixel CMOS sensor gives a nice shot, it can provide a crystal clear and crisp image even at the edges. The inbuilt flash is very powerful and good enough for indoor photography.
I think that using manual mode is better than auto mode in this camera, because, manual mode can give more control.
Another great feature of this camera is video recording. Nikon D90 can capture 1280 * 720 resolution videos at 24 frames per second. We can zoom and focus manually while taking videos, as in a video camera.
It is very simple to use, and has a very good performance, and features than its predecessor, the Nikon D80.
The price is around $1800 with the lens included, and $1380 without the lens. Almost everyone knows that Nikon’s lens are cheaper than others.So, it is advisable to buy the camera and lens separately, and
assemble it.
